Mill CottageSet in the heart of the beautiful World Heritage Site of Saltaire, Mill Cottage is a former mill worker’s cottage. It was built in 1857 by Sir Titus Salt and is a Grade II listed building. Saltaire just a few minutes walk to Salts Mill (David Hockney Gallery) and the railway station with easy access to Leeds (20 minutes), Bradford (10 minutes) and Skipton (30 minutes) making the cottage an ideal location for business or leisure.

Saltaire itself boasts buildings of architectural beauty, an excellent range of restaurants, bars, tea rooms and a host of specialist shops. More about Saltaire >

About the accommodation

Mill Cottage is warm and cosy and has been fully refurbished to a high standard with 2 bedrooms, a comfortable sitting room with dining area, a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. There is a outdoor paved space with stunning views and a seating area. The cottage is a short walk away from Salts Mill and all of Saltaire's attractions. Sorry - we don't allow smoking or pets.

  • There is also a paved seating area to the rear with stunning views of Baildon Moor.

The bedrooms have good quality beds and crisp bed linen to ensure a good night's sleep. There are wardrobes and plenty of drawers.

Access

Mill Cottage has level access from the pavement into the sitting room. From the kitchen, there is level access to an outside paved space with seating. There is a winding staircase from the kitchen leading to a bathroom with bath and shower and 2 bedrooms.

 

We are flexible!

Lots of holiday accommodation have a strict turn-over day, but we are flexible. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs. The cottage is also suitable for mini breaks and short term lets.

Payment method

Once your booking is confirmed, we ask for a deposit of £100 with the payment of the balance at the time of your visit.
